Review Google Talk 1.0.0.95 (Unreleased Version)

Google Talk (About)The guys at Google are at it again, and are testing a new version of Google Talk. Last time I called it a leaked version and everyone was on me for that, so this time I am calling it Google Talk 1.0.0.95 (Unreleased Version). You can download this version from here.

This one sports quite a few changes, and Google has also created a temporary What’s New Page for it. The new features and changes are:

  • Main Window now shows image icon for all users instead of only the online ones.
  • Notifications for Contacts coming Online.
  • Supports File Transfer.
  • Supports Voicemails.
  • Notifications for Voicemail.

This is the leaked version of Google Talk, and it features tons of improvements over the current version 1.0.0.86. The most significant being the addition on customizable user pictures, a few little conversation window themes to complement it and a few new options to customize your buddy list.

Review :: Google Pack

Recently Google launched Google Pack (http://pack.google.com), its way to give us all the sofwares its got and some other which Google claims are Essential.

So what comes in this pack, all the Google Software, its favourite Mozilla Firefox with Google Toolbar, Ad-Aware SE Personal, Norton Antivirus 2005 Special Edition and Adobe Reader 7. Then there are a few other additional softwares viz. Google Talk (yes its not included in essential ones) RealPlayer, GalleryPlayer HD Images and Trillian. So in all 13 softwares of which it preselects 9 of them and the rest 4 are for you to decide. But then one can completely customise what one wants to download and not.
